Philosophy of care: Dr. Cowan believes in working together with his patients to determine the underlying cause of illness and deciding what makes each person well. He takes a holistic approach in his treatment, using the least invasive therapies that will bring about the most profound positive effect on one's health. Dr. Cowan is a strong believer in preventative medicine and encourages patients to actively participate in their own health care. His goal is to assist individuals in achieving a greater state of health and happiness.
